A lazy,
cold-with-snow-threatening afternoon in the Studio finds Art Cat and me
cozy with our new Propane Heater. It not only smells a lot less than
the old kerosene one, but it offers Low, Medium and High. Ah, the
simple joys of an artist!
The view from the studio is
cold and drippy too, but don’t you love the splash of color the Yellow
Twig Dogwood gives? Thanks again, Majella, for teaching me how to have
‘Artist Eyes’ and to find joy and beauty in the everyday world around
us. Being a stubborn optimist in the midst of a pessimistic world, is
the way to go.
One way to remain grounded
in rough times is to surround yourself with artists. We ARE fairly
wonderful, as a rule. Look at some of the recent work from my
Willowcreek PCC Acrylic Artists’ Group on my blog: http://artcelebration.wordpress.com/ See you soon, keep in touch
on the Guestbook and
KEEP CREATING!
