May Message from Melissa

Studio in the Spring

The trouble with having a 10’ by 12’ studio is having to make a choice between having Daisy with me or having room to let a big painting dry on the floor while I work on another. Hard choice – who could resist those big brown eyes?
When I clean and organize (when the freaking sun comes out for more than ten minutes!) there will be plenty of room for both.

Meanwhile, here are some more “before” pictures to publicly motivate me to work towards the “after”.

It’s May and the flowers around my Studio are coming on. I’m needing to use my kerosene stove less often now, to the dismay of Daisy the Art Dog who loves to hang in the studio and soak up the heat.

Hanging art is by my
