| Art Lesson #3
A “Grid” Time will be Had by All… Whether you are new to art, new to another medium, or an old pro that is having a creative brain cramp, here is an idea for a painting that will get you going. Divide your surface into some sort of a grid. Size and number might be determined by how much time you have on hand. Then decide on a motif to be carried through the grid. Look at the examples to see a few of the endless ways to proceed. This project works well using analogous colors (colors that are next to each other on the color wheel, i.e.: yellow, yellow-green, green, green-blue, blue). You may want to add a pop of an accent with the complement (opposite on the color wheel) of one of the colors. melissa ![]() 2448 - Heart Grid - Watercolor, glitter, Sharpie ![]() 2450 - Pa-Loose! - Watercolor, tape, Crayon wax resist ![]() 2452 - Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Watercolor, Sharpie ![]() 2456 - Katrina - Watercolor, Tears, Sharpie ![]() 2458- SquareFest - Watercolor, Sharpie |
