This month I was given a
second opportunity to teach a lunchtime art workshop at Intel.
The first time I visited Jones Farm Intel, the subject was Art
Journaling and Altered Books. The most recent visit involved
showing them Definition Painting techniques, which was a little
nervous-making, given the very nice, very new tables, chairs and
carpeting in the room. My Intel host Daniela Krebs was again kind,
patient and professional, helping show examples from this site on a
huge screen.
The Left Brain Intel
employees did very well with the Right Brain exercise. We set the
scrapes up with two sheets of paper; one for the designed initial
scrape and the second for the already mixed paint. The second
pull is a strata design, perfect for gift wrap, or as a backing for
quotes or pen and ink drawings. Also, all that lovely paint is not
wasted and put into a landfill.

joy to be allowed to share with these smart people.
