August message and
Art Lesson # Five: Break it Up!

Welcome back to the Studio! I’m excited about my first instructional video, arranged and directed by my web designer Nancy Webster and shot by Dick Webster. Their calm professionalism helped me be less dorky than I might otherwise have been my first time out. Thank you so much Nancy and Dick.

Since I pruned the two weeping birch trees on either side of the path from the street to my Studio, in addition to the video, I have sold three paintings and am about to hang a long-term display of my work in a case at Southeast Center, Portland Community College.

The sales were to Captain Mary's, a wonderful condo in Lincoln City, Oregon for which I'm creating a special Definition painting.

And Toast Restaurant, the best neighborhood spot in Portland at SE Mitchell and 52nd .  They purchased two Definition paintings which hang now. I guess the old Feng Shui 'let the chi get through' stuff really works, eh?

Now please click on Art Lesson #5: Break it Up!
Have fun with another simple exercise that looks great!
